Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") explains what you may and may not do on bgly.net. It supplements our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Purpose

bgly.net is an AI-powered background removal tool for product photos, portraits, and similar images. You must use it lawfully and respect the rights of others.

2. Prohibited content

You may not upload, process, download, or distribute content through the Service that:

• Is illegal or promotes illegal activity
• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or depicts nudity in a sexual context
• Involves minors in any sexual, unsafe, or exploitative context
• Depicts non-consensual intimate imagery or violates someone's privacy or publicity rights
• Infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Contains personal data of others without a lawful basis (for example, ID documents, medical records, or private photos you do not have permission to use)
• Is harassing, threatening, hateful, or incites violence or discrimination
• Is malware, spam, or designed to disrupt the Service
• Is intended to bypass quotas, payment requirements, or security controls

We may update this list as the Service evolves.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Use automated scripts or bots to abuse free quota, check-in rewards, or promotional credits
• Resell or publicly offer the Service except through features we explicitly provide (such as an authorized API)
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or probe the Service in ways that exceed normal use
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with bgly.net
• Use outputs to mislead others about the origin of an image in a harmful or fraudulent way

4. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring you have rights to every image you upload
• Ensuring your use of outputs complies with marketplace rules (Amazon, Shopify, social platforms, etc.)
• Obtaining consent from identifiable individuals in photos when required
• Complying with commercial-use rules in our Terms (free tier is personal, non-commercial only)

The Service does not verify ownership of uploads. We may remove content or suspend accounts when we become aware of likely violations.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We may use automated and manual review to enforce this Policy. We do not guarantee detection of all violations.

We may, at our discretion:

• Cancel or refuse tasks
• Remove stored outputs
• Revoke promotional or unused credits
• Limit or suspend API access
• Suspend or terminate accounts
• Report to authorities when required by law

Repeat or serious violations may result in immediate termination without refund.

6. Reporting

To report abuse or infringement, email contact@bgly.net with:

• URLs or task IDs (if available)
• Description of the issue
• Your contact information
• For copyright claims, sufficient detail to identify the work and your authority to act

7. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
